👋 Hi, I’m Michelle—a professional DJ, Tutor, and Mentor with over 30 years of experience. Whether you want to understand your equipment, play for friends and family, DJ birthdays and weddings, perform on cruise ships, or start your own DJ business, our mission is to help you explore and secure your happy place.

How our 1:1 DJ Lessons work
As part of our work includes supporting people with various hidden and physical disabilities and various forms of neurodiversity, we use an application process to ensure that anyone accessing lessons with us will be correctly supported. As these lessons are delivered on a 1:1 basis, we also review applications for safeguarding purposes.
If you are interested in booking 1:1 DJ lessons, please submit an application form here.
Once this form is received we will review it and get back to you within 48-72 hours. If for any reason we don’t feel that Mischemix Academy is going to be the right fit for you, we’ll let you know why and refer you to another suitable provider.
If we feel that we are the right place for you, we’ll advise you to book your first 2 hour taster session.
In this taster session Michelle will ask you more about why you want to learn to DJ (it’s totally ok if it’s just about having fun!) and talk about how further lessons could help you reach your DJing goals.
Once we’ve had that taster session together, if you’d like to continue with further lessons you’ll be able to book a block of 6 or 12 sessions.
